SSSEEN!

Weird, but humorous story in this short film. Just watch and see the use of massive perspective shots, I have to say, quite epic.

For some reason it feels rare now to see animation that has a comic-like hand-drawn feel to it. Made by Patrick Smith of Blend Films.

Another one of his shorts with some surreal segments in it. The hands are a bit too large, but still nice nevertheless. I wonder if he had the music especially made for his animations or just ripped from somewhere.

I really dig the hand-drawn style and how it actually looks so rough and unfinished (even if it might not be intentional). The story is pretty cool as well. It’s the first year project of Persona-Sama (check out his other video we posted as well).
