More Google Promo Videos! This time it’s known who had done this, which is 1st Ave Machine, computer graphic special effects studio and production company based in New York.

I always enjoy watching parodies, and this was no exception. A very interesting and well-crafted take on what really happened to the Pixar logo.

Another Google video which is kinda fun to watch (I just wished it was stop-motion) Pretty old though as Gmail is already launched a long time ago. Same with the other Google videos: no idea who made it.

An abstract (fan) music video made by Aubo Lessi of Autechre’s song Dropp.

An original animation done by one person. That’s right, this entire video was masterminded and animated alone, incredible when you consider the quality of the clip. Honestly, it’s leaps and bounds better than a lot of studio work I’m seeing these days.

When I saw this on TV a few weeks ago I was blown away by the sheer brilliance and execution of such a concept. When you begin to realize just how much perception and order can influence our way of thinking, a whole new world opens up to us.

“Trenchcoat official cardboard cut-out music video directed by Rogier Wieland.” Apparently this guy uses a lot of “cut-out cardboard style” in his videos, but this other motion graphics as well. Check out his showreel below.

Commercial for an Olympus camera (the 3/4th E-P1!) that uses stop motion. 60.000 pictures were shot, 9.600 prints developed and 1.800 pictures shot again for the commercial. No idea who made it.

Apparently (I just read) is the idea inspired by (or taken from) a Japanese short called “A Wolf loves Pork” by Taijin Takeuchi.
