So what do you think?

SSSEEN! is now at 69 posts and already been up for a bit more than 4 months. We have some statistics on how many visitors we have, but a hunch is that about 80% of the average 30 visitors are not human. As in spiders. But not the animal.

We would like to receive some feedback from you guys. Are the videos interesting enough? Have you already seen most of them? Does the page have a long loading time? Are there features on the website you want to see? Do you want to interact more and have a community around this or are you content with just the videos? Is it updated often enough? Do you want to see more text?

There’s a comment link below. Use it to tell us your wishes. :P (Or use Twitter)

And yeah, SSSEEN! will get a slight layout makeover one of these days. ;)

Google Search Stories

Another Google commercial one! This one about the different ways to use Google to reach your goal is simple and very cute and apparently it has played during the Superbowl so you Americans might have seen this one then. Not sure who made it though.

Google has a few of these videos called “Search Stories” and this is another one. They have a whole YouTube channel dedicated to it, so check it out!

Lisa Hannigan – Lille

http://www.vimeo.com/3944880
Now for something a bit different – a video that doesn’t have anything post-production related, but is possible to inspire you to use art in a different way. There has been a few videos that use a pop-up book style (like Fergie’s “Clumsy”), but I haven’t seen one which uses a real pop-up book like in this video of Lisa Hannigan, which is an interesting style to visualize the story she’s telling in a more playful way. I also like the fact how the story literally “unfolds”.

The pop-up book is made by Maeve Clancy and Jamie Hannigan, who also directed the video.

SSSEEN! on Twitter

SSSEEN! has just created a Twitter account, so you guys can follow us and see directly when updates are made. There will be some other links tweeted as well, which are graphic design/motion graphic/animation/etc. related, but don’t quite fit the content on SSSEEN! So it might be interesting to follow if you have a Twitter account. Or just visit.

United State of Pop 2009

YouTube Preview Image

A blend of the top 25 songs of 2009, while nothing visually impressive, certainly proves that it’s not just what you see that counts.

Russian Gmail Instructional Video

Another Google video which is kinda fun to watch (I just wished it was stop-motion) Pretty old though as Gmail is already launched a long time ago. Same with the other Google videos: no idea who made it.

Creativity is Not Design (Design Test 2)

Design Test

Andy Rutledge put together a “Design Test” to help illustrate the difference between creativity and design. Pretty interesting read.
